About Sydney Durham
Sydney recently graduated from UT Austin with a degree in International Relations and Global Studies. Studying how culture and environment shape well-being gave her a wider view of health and sparked her interest in holistic care.
That background is a surprisingly good fit for a chiropractic office. She sees wellness as the bigger picture of mind, body, and environment rather than fixing symptoms one at a time, which is close to how the doctors here talk about care. She enjoys helping people find their footing toward balance and better health.
She loves working with kids, and specifically the way they are unapologetically themselves. She calls it a reminder for her to do the same. If your child is shy about a first appointment, she is good at making the waiting room feel less like a doctor’s office.
Education and background
- Degree in International Relations and Global Studies, UT Austin
- Sees wellness as mind, body, and environment together
- Enjoys helping patients find their footing toward better health
- Particularly enjoys working with children
Working with kids and families
A lot of what makes a pediatric office work happens before the adjustment. Kids read the room, and if the front of house feels relaxed the rest of the visit tends to go better. Sydney is part of that, and she is happy to let a nervous child take their time.
New to the practice? Our What to Expect page covers how a first visit runs, and our pediatric chiropractic page explains how care for children differs from care for adults.
Outside the office
Sydney spends her free time doing Pilates, lifting at the gym, shopping, trying new coffee shops, and reading by the pool. Her motto: find joy in the journey and be the energy you want to attract.
